Russia keen to establish LNG Terminal in Gwadar, Pakistan
According to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Russia has recently shown interest in establishing an LNG terminal in Gwadar.
Prime Minister Imran Khan talked to the media in Islamabad, regarding his visit to Moscow, saying that talks in Moscow focused on various topics, including energy cooperation. He confirmed that Russian investors have agreed to attend an investment meeting in Islamabad next month.
Russian investors have shown interest in attending an investment conference in Islamabad next month, according to the Minister.
Ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit, Pakistan’s energy ministry spokesperson stated, “Both countries are eager to launch the project at the earliest” As well as claimed by Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the relationship between Pakistan and Russia has been improving in recent years.
